Gold price forecast
A 30-day blended outlook combining the genuine local price history, observed volatility and live price, with a statistical range and market scenarios.
The dashed line is an illustrative daily path based on historical volatility, not certain daily prices. It starts at the current live price.
The base path fits only Observed and Bot log records. Estimated rows are excluded so filled-in values do not train the model. A recency-weighted trend and realized daily-return volatility are calculated, then the trend is damped toward the mean. The 80% band reflects historical volatility; it is not a promise or price target.
What can move gold?
No model can know every future event. This dashboard shows key drivers and scenarios instead of presenting a price as certain.
On 20 October 2026, the World Gold Council described October prices as steady after September’s decline, with improving gold-fund flows and India’s festive and wedding season supporting demand. On 15 October it noted strong official Chinese purchases in Q3.
World Gold Council context: yields, the dollar, risk and demand are pulling in different directions; drivers can change quickly.
Real yields and the US dollar
Higher real yields or a stronger dollar can raise gold’s opportunity cost; easing in either can support prices.
Geopolitical and financial risk
Tensions and uncertainty can increase hedging demand, while calmer markets and risk appetite can weigh on it.
Central banks and investor flows
Official purchases and gold-fund inflows support demand; profit-taking or outflows can pressure prices.
Inflation, growth and supply
Inflation expectations, global growth, jewellery demand and recycling all affect demand and supply.
